QR Scanner & Maker is a free tool to scan and create QR codes in your web browser — no install or sign-up required.
What you can do
On this site you can upload an image containing a QR code or point your device camera at one to read its value, and open safe links right away. You can also create QR codes of many types — URL, text, WiFi, email, phone, and SMS — and download them as a high-resolution PNG or a vector SVG.
How we protect your privacy
All processing for scanning and generation runs only in your browser. Uploaded images, camera video, and your input are never transmitted to or stored on any server. It is a static web app with no upload server at all.
Why we built it
QR codes are used more and more in daily life, but reading or quickly creating them on a computer often meant installing an app or signing up. We built a lightweight, safe tool that anyone can use freely, at no cost beyond ads.
